Goal of pilgrimage to the fourteen Holy Helpers

The Tree of Life of the Fourteen Holy Helpers, the painting of the Fourteen Holy Helpers and the pietà confer a special depth of focus to symbolism. The symbolism of the Fourteen Holy Helpers constitutes the background of the pilgrimage site. The new chapel, the side altar, the historic painting of the Fourteen Holy Helpers on the left wall of the side chapel and the Tree of Life in the foyer by Jakob Oberhollenzer from San Giovanni in Valle Aurina (Val Pusteria) intensify the devotion. The many individuals and groups who visit the pilgrimage site experience a lively harmony between church and chapel. The message comes to the fore with the help of symbolism: People need a reference person. They can confide their hardships and worries to the Fourteen Holy Helpers.
